PROJECT OVERVIEW
Horizon was awarded this new $9.6M construction of a 117,022-SF environmental recycling facility. FCC Material Recovery Facility CMAR project was a large metal building with an enclosed maintenance shop. The facility receives multiple number of recycling trucks daily with extensive research completed on traffic patterns. The project has extensive paving to accommodate the size and weight of the trucks. Trucks enter and exit the facility through scales that document all arrivals and departures. The building was designed to accommodate high pile storage and the unique life safety requirements in a facility of this type. In order to secure the site, Horizon fenced the entire perimeter and added state-of-the-art access controls. This schedule was fast-tracked for a hard-opening date and was completed in record time and on budget.
103,425-SF pre-engineered metal building with 13,597-SF tilt-wall office space. This warehouse recycling facility includes a multi-purpose room, 11-offices, 10-workstations and conference rooms, as well as 3-breakrooms.
